Saratoga National Wedding
When your wedding day happens to align with the royal wedding, you have the opportunity to have some really good content for speeches. You also have every excuse to print out masks of Prince Harry and Meghan to use in your slow motion booth. Alexandra and Spencer were married on that magical day at Saratoga National Golf Club. It wasn't just the royal wedding day, it was Alexandra and Spencer's wedding day. I didn't hear a peep from anyone about the rain that wasn't expected to let up until later that evening. It was just an accessory, one that would be there but it wouldn't affect them in any negative manner. It also allowed for some cute action shots with big white umbrellas, that kept the wedding party dry, thanks to the incredible Christine Wheat. Working with Christine was a complete treat and her team helped keep everything running smoothly with the extra weather challenges. Great wedding planners are like diamonds! They make everything sparkle. Like REALLY sparkle.
One of the highlights of the reception was a surprise pop-up Stewart's shop that Alexandra's parents surprised the couple with. I grew up with a Stewart's right down the street and spent a lot of time in the ice cream line over the course of my life. It was the perfect late night snack for all the guests, inclusive of their famous ice cream and milkshakes (some with a little added booze)!
Renaissance Floral Design knocked the design out of the park and was the perfect backdrop for numerous portraits that got moved inside the tent thanks to mother nature.
Thank you Alexandra and Spencer for sharing your wedding day with me. You are just as incredible as your family and group of friends. I wish you a lifetime of love, great family time and lots of Stewart's ice cream! Xoxo.
