Albany, NY Fall Family Portrait Photography
There may not be a “best time” to do your photos with your newborn baby, but I honestly thing there is any “easiest time”. I have said this many times before, but I personally feel the easiest time to do photos with your baby is around 6 months old. They are content, easily entertained and generally go with the flow. The most challenging is the year after they start walking. They are independent and do not need anyone to slow down their personal adventure and new freedom. It doesn’t mean you can’t do photos, it just means you will have to work for it a little more :)
Little Emily is right around the 6 month mark and she was ALL smiles for her session. We hiked about 20 minutes into the Albany Pine Bush to find some great spots to highlight the Fall foliage and changing light. I am so thankful to this family for their willingness to explore with a baby on their hip and a dog lease in their hand. It was worth every step!
