One of the most beautiful things about being a family lifestyle photographer is being able to capture both the calm and the chaos and the ever-changing definition of both. Being able to bring back memories in a single photograph and reminding parents that there is beauty in both. Reminding them of simpler times when chaos was defined as what felt like millions of little kicks waking them from their sleep and the calm of being able to rest as one wished. Refreshing their mind of a time when their newborn lay milk drunk on their chest, eyelids fluttering and smiles appearing. Wondering what their newborn could possibly be dreaming about to result in such a cute, toothless smile. Making them think about the time they thought they would never make it through the sleepless, chaotic nights. I have compiled a list of common questions that families may have when it comes to preserving their cherished moments.   • I certainly do! You can find photos of the print boxes and albums directly in the store of my sample galleries here.

  • A lot! Ha. I am currently using Nikon and Fuji digital equipment to photograph families.

  • Because my newborn shoots are lifestyle shoots (parents are in the photos loving and cherishing that time with their baby), there isn't really a specific age the baby needs to be. Every day is a new wonder with a newborn. From being teeny tiny and sleepy, to learning how to smile, coo, crawl, walk, clap, play, laugh.

  • I love scheduling my portraits when daylight is at its best. For outdoor shoots, light is most beautiful at sunrise and sunset, but we may have to work around your little one’s nap schedule to make sure they are happy. I usually schedule my studio sessions anywhere from 11am - 3pm in the Winter months and 12pm - 5pm in the Summer months. I have some pretty incredible West facing windows. For at home shoots, please let me know when light is its best at your home.

  • For portraits, color corrected digital images are uploaded to an online gallery, at the latest, 45 days from your shoot.

  • For portraits, a 50% retainer is required. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. Check and money order are the forms of payments accepted.
